Robert Toll weighs in. Major builders are not sensing a "double dip" recession
One of the most respected executives in the home building industry says that building along the eastern seaboard is going well and improving. While many areas continue to work through their surplus inventories, this is a welcome piece of good news. Robert Toll is generally conservative and not given to hype and hyperbole.

Though I think we have quite a ways to go before impactful recovery, this encouraging interview suggests to me that we may be at the "starting line". Note that his company's current volumes are less than 1/3 of what they were at the peak of the boom.
